Costa Rica Tourist Information

brochuresandmpas.jpg Brochures and maps are distributed free of charge by the ICT (Instituto Costarricense de Turismo) bureaus at the two international airports (Juan Santamaría international airport (Alajuela) and Daniel Oduber international airport (Liberia) ) and in San José. They can also provide personalized assistance. Outside the Capital, visit local tour agencies for information. Backpacker hostels, Hotel tour desks, and some websites are other good resources.

Opening Hours

National parks are tipically open daily from 8am to 4pm. Museum opening hours vary, with many museums being closed for lunch and on Monday.
